An installation we carried out for one of our customers whose requirements were a high quality, automated garage door where only partial access was required the majority of the time.

Our suggestion was the Hormann LPU42 sectional garage door along with a wicket door as this would allow the customer to access the garage without the need to open the whole door.

This garage door features double skinned, 42mm thick PU-foam filled sections which provide the LPU42 with excellent thermal insulation. This helps protect the garage from the elements whilst also maintaining heat inside.

This Garage Door also comes fully automated with a Hormann Promatic garage door operator. This enables you to open the garage door quickly, conveniently and safely from within your car using a hand transmitter.

Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of the Hormann sectional doors ensure that they are optimally sealed. Sectional doors are tested and certified in accordance with the high safety requirements of European standard 13241-1.

We installed a garage door recently for one of our customers who was looking for a high quality, insulated and secure option. Our customer was also looking for a door which would allow them to park right in front of their garage. We suggested a Hormann L Ribbed sectional garage door as this matched the requirements of the customer.

The double-skinned LPU 42 sectional garage door features 42 mm thick sections that ensure excellent thermal insulation which helps protect your garage from external elements whilst also maintaining the heat inside, which is especially ideal for the winter months.

A recent customer of ours was looking for a manual garage door which would not take up room both internally and externally due to space being at a premium. They also required a garage door which would allow sunlight in during the day, saving on electric costs whilst also allowing partial access as the whole garage door was not required to be open majority the of the time.

We suggested the Fort Chester side hinged ⅓ split garage doors with plain windows allowing maximum sunlight. The customer chose to go with a vertical mid ribbed design with their garage door being finished in Clay Brown, which would no doubt enhance the kerbside appeal of their property.

Steel bracing gives Fort side hinged doors a robust feel in everyday use. The standard configuration uses twin latches on the active leaf and shoot bolts on the inn-active leaf. Side hinged, personnel and smart pass doors employ high grade corrosion protected hinges for smooth operation.

Traditional side hinged doors are easy to operate and so simple. The doors are available in Narrow and Medium Rib in Vertical styles and Wide Rib in horizontal styles. Steel Side hinged garage doors available 50:50 or 1/3:2/3 opening up to 14’0” wide.

Fort doors are also available in the classic low gloss solid colours such as steel blue and ruby red. Every door is factory finished for excellent corrosion resistance ensuring a high quality long lasting door for many years to come.
