Due to the current COVID situation we have had to make some necessary changes in the way we work on site for the safety of our staff and customers which I’m sure you will agree has to be our main priority.

Procedure for Surveys

Our surveyor will call you prior to arrival to let you know an ETA and to ensure the garage will be unlocked.

Our surveyor will be wearing full PPE including disposable gloves, face mask and will be carrying anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser. They will ensure they sanitise their hands prior to commencement of your door fitting.

The surveyor will not knock on your door unless completely necessary, they will call on route and ask you to leave to door unlocked so they can enter without you being present.

The surveyor will not be able to move any items in your garage. In the past this hasn’t been so much of an issue and where possible we would help people out with moving small items in the garage in order to get the door fitted. In the current situation we have had to refrain from doing this and as the fewer items and surfaces touched by our installers the less likely of contamination.

The surveyor will not ask you to come to the garage, nor will he hand you any paperwork. Instead he will email you an estimate.

On completion the surveyor will call you to advise that the survey has been completed.

Procedure for Installations

Our installer will call you prior to arrival to let you know an ETA and to ensure the garage is cleared.

Our installer will be wearing full PPE including disposable gloves, face mask and will be carrying anti-bacterial wipes and hand sanitiser. They will ensure they sanitise their hands prior to commencement of your door fitting.

The installer will not knock on your door unless completely necessary, they will call on route and ask you to leave to door unlocked so they can enter without you being there.

The installer will not be able to move any items in your garage. In the past this hasn’t been so much of an issue and where possible we would help people out with moving small items in the garage in order to get the door fitted. In the current situation we have had to refrain from doing this and as the fewer items and surfaces touched by our installers the less likely of contamination.

Once the door has been fitted our installer will wipe the door, door handle, keys or remote controls (where applicable) with anti-bacterial wipes and call you advise where he has left them.

All disposable PPE will be removed from site.

The installer will not ask you to come to the garage, nor will he ask for any paperwork to be signed. However, he will take a photo as proof the installation has taken place.

On completion the installer will call you to advise that the job has been completed and will ask you to call the office to pay the final balance.

What we ask of you

Please ensure the garage door is left unlocked ready for our surveyor’s or installer’s arrival.

Please ensure the garage is sufficiently cleared to allow the door to be fitted without the need to touch/move any items stored within your garage. If you are unsure how clear the garage needs to be please phone the office as they will be able to advise you. Alternatively feel free to send us a photo of your garage and we can let you know what will need moving prior to our arrival.

We are requesting that customers do not enter the garage whilst our installer or surveyor is working inside and would ask that ALL customers respect this regardless of whether you are showing any symptoms of the virus or not.

Once finished the surveyor or installer will call you to let you know the survey or installation is completed.
After the installation please call the office to settle to remaining balance on the day of install.

It is recommended that you do not enter the garage for 30mins after our surveyor or  installer has finished and vacated the garage.

PLEASE NOTE THAT FAILURE TO ADHERE TO THE ABOVE COULD RESULT IN YOUR GARAGE DOOR NOT BEING FITTED ON THE SCHEDULED DATE.
