Our customer was after automatic Garage Door with excellent insulation qualities, weather resistance and high security as the garage is often used as a personal workshop. Other requirement was an attractive finish and one to go along with the various wooden elements on the property itself, without having to maintain the garage door on an on-going basis.

Our solution, the Hormann LPU 42 Panelled design finished in Golden Oak Decograin with UV-resistant plastic film coating. This gives the sectional door a striking and authentic timber look without the trouble of having to maintain a real timber door.

This double-skinned LPU 42 sectional garage door features 42 mm thick sections that ensure excellent thermal insulation, helping to protect the garage from the elements whilst maintaining the heat inside the garage. Especially ideal for the winter months.

This Sectional Garage Door came fully automated by the Hormann Supramatic operator which provides faster opening, allowing the customer to drive directly from the street into their garage.

Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of the Hormann sectional doors ensure that they are optimally sealed. Sectional doors are tested and certified in accordance with the high safety requirements of European standard 13241-1.
