One of our recent installations involved a customer looking for 2 matching garage doors that would both be fully automated and also take minimal room up within the garage itself. They wanted a modernised, traditional looking garage door which would enhance the kerbside appeal of their property.

We suggested the Hormann Rollmatic Roller garage door as they open vertically and require minimum space inside the garage. This construction principle means the customer can make full use of the space inside and in front of the garage. With the roller garage door RollMatic the ceiling remains free and can be used as an additional storage space, saving precious space within the garage.

RollMatic doors are subject to minimum wear due to the standard operators with soft start and soft stop. The counterbalance system and the reliable automatic safety cut-out securely stop the door if it encounters an obstacle. This helps ensure that the customer utilises the garage doors for many years to come.

These garage doors allow the customer to drive directly into their garage with the help of the Hormann Promatic operator opening and closing the garage door without having the face the elements outside.

The two Decograin decors in the colours Golden Oak and Rosewood have a convincingly real timber look. A special abrasion-resistant surface protection preserves the UV-resistant plastic film coating on the profiles over a long time. This specific customer was looking to replace their old door which was badly worn out. They wanted an automated, modern yet stylish garage door which would look good on the exterior of their properties matching various wooden elements which were already present.

We suggested the Hormann M-Ribbed Sectional garage door finished in Decograin surface with a UV-resistant plastic film coating to give the sectional door a striking and authentic timber look. This saved the customer the hassle of having to maintain an authentic timber door.

This Sectional Garage Door came automated making the customers life easier and hassle free, compared to their previous garage door which was manual. This garage door now allows them to drive directly into their garage with the help of the Hormann Promatic operator opening and closing the garage door.

Hormann’s LPU42 also features double skinned, 42mm thick PU-foam filled sections which provide the LPU42 with excellent thermal insulation. The. This helps protect the garage from the elements whilst also maintaining heat inside.

Flexible and weather-resistant seals on all four sides of the Hormann sectional doors ensure that they are optimally sealed. Sectional doors are tested and certified in accordance with the high safety requirements of European standard 13241-1.

One of our recent customers had requested a Garage Door which would be relatively inexpensive, secure yet attractive and in a darker colour allowing less maintenance in terms of minor blemishes and stains on the exterior of the door due to this garage being located in a block of garages.

We suggested the Hormann 2002 Steel Canopy Up & Over Garage Door in the horizontal ribbed design. The reason why we suggested the canopy over the retractable was because the customer had more than enough room externally when entering the garage however was limited for space within the garage itself.

Canopy Up & Overs give the customer extra space by allowing the door panels to protrude approximately 1/3 forming a canopy with no tracks running back into the garage when the door is closed. Retractable gearing on the other hand means the door panel opens on horizontal tracks which go back into the garage, thus limiting space within the garage itself.

Our solution, the Hormann LPU 42 Panelled design finished in Golden Oak Decograin with UV-resistant plastic film coating. This gives the sectional door a striking and authentic timber look without the trouble of having to maintain a real timber door.

This double-skinned LPU 42 sectional garage door features 42 mm thick sections that ensure excellent thermal insulation, helping to protect the garage from the elements whilst maintaining the heat inside the garage. Especially ideal for the winter months.

With the double-leaf hinged garage door, you can either open both leaves or even just one leaf which is perfect if you are just trying to get your bike or smaller items out of your garage.

This garage door mechanism provides reliable locking of the door, the traffic leaf is equipped as standard with an aluminium lever handle set and a lock with profile cylinder.
